Why You Feel Like No One Ever Loved You - Opinion

I was watching a video featuring Cliffe (a popular Christian apologist) versus a young female atheist. During the conversation, Cliffe asked her, "why don't you believe in God?" She said that it's because she hasn't felt God, she hasn't seen nor feel God's love. Then she was asked, "have you ever been loved before or experienced love from anyone"? The lady replied that since she was born, no one has ever loved her, and that she's never experienced how it feels like to be loved.

That made me wonder. Can someone live an entire life without being loved by someone, even by the parents? I don't think that's possible. I think we become blind to peoples love and kindness when we want it our own way, based on our selfish definition. Like, "if he doesn't send me money, that means he doesn't love me". But people express love in the language they themselves understand. I mean, demanding much from others leave us blind and empty. It makes sense to appreciate every kindness and every good gesture from people around us.

I understand that everyone has a unique experience in life. And that someone experiences can be unimaginable. But as the scripture would say, do to others what you expect someone do to you. When no one offers you the love and care that you expect, take over the lead and show them love the way you think it should be. It will not only make you feel happy, but can be the only way to teach them right.

If your spouse doesn't treat you or express love to you the way you want it, take the lead to show him how it should be. If he doesn't buy you clothes, gather money and get him some. If she doesn't behave well, become more good mannered in a way that your goodness would keep her humble.

The only reason "True love doesn't exist" is because you haven't loved someone truly. The only reason true friend doesn't exist is because you are not a true friend. The only reason you haven't felt or seen love is because you don't love. Those who love others know that there is love. Those who sacrifice for others know the meaning of commitment. You can always take the lead!
